This is a relaxation aid, not medical advice. Meditation can support wellbeing but is not a treatment for any medical condition, including high blood pressure, anxiety disorders or insomnia. If you have a health concern, speak to a doctor. Stop if you feel unwell.

Best with headphones. iPhone users: check the silent switch is off, and keep the screen on during your session - phones pause browser audio when the screen locks.

Why a Generated Meditation Beats a Library

Meditation apps hand you a library of pre-recorded sessions and ask you to find one that fits. This tool works the other way round: you say what you want to work on, and the session is written for you on the spot. Your name appears in it. The pacing matches the length you chose. A sleep session slows down and lets you drift off; a focus session brings you back to a single point of attention.

The voice is generated by OpenAI text to speech, the script by Claude, and the soundscape is synthesised live in your browser with the Web Audio API - no recordings, no loops, no two sessions the same.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the AI Meditation Generator do?
It creates a personalised guided meditation from three inputs: your name, what you want to work on and how long you have. Claude writes a script built around your goal, an AI voice reads it aloud, and a calming soundscape plays underneath. Every session is unique.
Is it free?
Yes. You get 3 meditations per day at no cost. The limit exists because each session costs real money in AI usage. If you want more than 3 a day, get in touch on LinkedIn.
Is this medical advice?
No. This is a relaxation aid, not a treatment for any medical condition, including high blood pressure, anxiety disorders or insomnia. If you have a health concern, speak to a doctor. Stop the session if you feel unwell.
Do you store my name or goal?
No. Your name and goal are sent to a Cloudflare Worker, used to generate the script and audio, and never saved. The only thing stored is a rate-limit counter tied to your IP address, which expires within two days.
Why does the voice pause between passages?
Guided meditation is mostly silence. The voice speaks for a few seconds, then leaves space for you to follow the instruction while the soundscape continues. Longer sessions use longer pauses, and sleep meditations use the longest of all.
Can I listen with the screen locked?
Not reliably. The audio is generated and mixed live in your browser, and phones suspend browser audio when the screen locks. Keep the tab open and the screen on, or use a desktop. Headphones give the best experience.
Can I download my meditation?
Yes. Once all the voice passages have loaded, use Download MP3 to save the full session with the voice and soundscape mixed at the background volume you set on the slider. On a phone, the Share button sends the file straight to WhatsApp or any other app.
How It Works
  1. Fill in the form. Your first name is optional. Pick a goal or describe your own, choose 5, 10 or 20 minutes, then select a voice and a soundscape.
  2. Claude writes your script. The AI writes a timed meditation built around your goal - short spoken passages with deliberate pauses between them, personalised with your name.
  3. The voice is generated. Each passage is converted to speech by OpenAI text to speech at a slowed, calm pace. The first passage is ready within seconds; the rest load quietly in the background.
  4. Press play. Your browser synthesises the soundscape live with the Web Audio API and plays each spoken passage at the right moment, gently lowering the music while the voice speaks.
  5. Follow the voice. When the session ends the soundscape fades out slowly. Take a moment before you move. You can also download the finished session as an MP3, or share it straight to WhatsApp from your phone.
Key Points - Getting More From Meditation
  • Consistency beats length. Five minutes every day does more than twenty minutes once a week. Start with the 5-minute option and build up.
  • A wandering mind is the exercise. Noticing you have drifted and coming back is not failing at meditation - it is the repetition that trains attention.
  • Posture matters less than stillness. Sitting in a chair with both feet on the floor works fine. For sleep sessions, lie down in bed and let the session end without you.
  • Match the session to the moment. Focus sessions work best before deep work, relaxation sessions after stress, sleep sessions as the last thing you do with the lights off.
  • Headphones change the experience. The soundscape sits under the voice and the stereo detail is lost on laptop speakers.
