The iGaming Promo Copy Generator uses Claude AI to produce compliant promotional copy for gambling operators and affiliates across 10 regulated markets. Describe your promotion, select a jurisdiction, channel and tone, and receive a ready-to-use headline, body copy, call-to-action, T&C summary and the required market disclaimer.

The tool is aware of the major advertising restrictions for each market - including the UK's CAP Code and UKGC rules, Germany's heavily restricted advertising environment, and Spain's near-ban on bonus marketing. Generated copy is calibrated for compliance but should always be reviewed by a qualified compliance officer before publication.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the generated copy legally compliant?
The generator produces copy that is calibrated for the advertising rules of the selected market. However, AI can make mistakes, and regulations change. The output is a starting point for your compliance process, not a substitute for it. Always have marketing materials reviewed by a compliance officer or gambling law specialist before publication.
Which markets does the tool support?
The tool supports 10 regulated iGaming markets: UK (UKGC), Malta (MGA), Ontario Canada (iGO), Netherlands (KSA), Sweden (Spelinspektionen), Denmark (Spillemyndighed), Germany (GGL), Ireland (GRAI), Spain (DGOJ) and Gibraltar. These cover the major European and Canadian regulated markets.
Why does the copy vary significantly between markets?
Each market has materially different advertising rules. The UK requires specific wording and forbids "free" claims unless there are truly no conditions. Germany has banned most forms of online gambling advertising. Spain restricts bonus marketing almost entirely to opted-in existing customers. The generator adjusts copy for these constraints, which is why output for Germany or Spain will be much more conservative than for Malta or Gibraltar.
Can I use this for affiliate marketing copy?
Yes. The tool is useful for both operator and affiliate marketing copy. For affiliate use, note that the disclaimer and compliance requirements still apply regardless of whether the publisher is the operator or an affiliate - affiliates are subject to the same advertising codes.
Is my promotion description stored or used to train the AI?
No. Your input is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the copy and is not retained or used for training. JohnB.io does not log or store the content you submit. See the Anthropic Privacy Policy for full details.
How It Works
  1. Describe your promotion in plain terms. Include the key details: bonus type (deposit match, free spins, cashback), bonus amount, wagering requirement, validity period, and any key restrictions. The more detail you provide, the more accurate the copy.
  2. Select the market, channel and tone. Market controls which jurisdiction's advertising rules and disclaimer are applied. Channel (Display, Email, Social, SMS) adjusts copy length and format. Tone sets the register: Exciting, Professional or Minimal.
  3. Click Generate Copy. The tool sends your inputs to Claude, which writes compliant promotional copy calibrated for the selected market and channel.
  4. Review and copy the output. Each section - Headline, Body Copy, CTA, T&C Summary and Disclaimer - is displayed separately with a Copy button. Review the output against your internal compliance process before use.
Key Points
  • 10 markets supported. UK (UKGC), Malta (MGA), Ontario (iGO), Netherlands (KSA), Sweden, Denmark, Germany (GGL), Ireland (GRAI), Spain (DGOJ) and Gibraltar. Each market has distinct advertising rules and the generator is calibrated accordingly.
  • Compliance-aware AI. The underlying prompt instructs Claude on the major restrictions for each market - including the UK CAP Code's "free" claim rules, Germany's social media advertising ban, and Spain's restriction of bonus marketing to opted-in existing customers. Copy is generated with these constraints in mind.
  • Not a replacement for compliance review. AI-generated copy can contain errors and regulatory requirements change. This tool is a drafting aid, not a compliance sign-off. Always have final copy reviewed by a compliance officer or gambling law specialist.
  • Daily usage limit. There is no account required. A per-IP daily limit applies to keep the service available for all users. The limit resets at midnight UTC.
  • Powered by Claude AI. The tool uses Claude (Anthropic) via a secure serverless API. Your inputs are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the copy and are not stored or used for training.
